Contract Farming

     Raw materials management for both sweet corn and vegetables is a vital factor to produce quality products. To ensure a sufficient and timely supply of raw materials the company maintains a large extension team to advise farmers and encourage them to grow the crops we require. Farmers are encouraged to form cooperatives to pool the harvest for delivery to the cannery. In turn, the company receives the support of various government organizations including the Department of Agriculture Extension of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives of the Ministry of Finance.
