Awards and Certificates

     Over the last several years River Kwai International has been awarded a number of prizes for its achievement in the areas of innovation and export promotion

• ATS sweet corn was honored with the 1996 "TAGUCHI PRIZE" as the Outstanding Biotechnology Program at the Third Asia Pacific Conference on Agricultural Biotechnology.
• The Ministry of Science and Technology also awarded Dr. Taweesak Pulam and Sweet Seeds Co., Ltd. with the superior country's outstanding invention of 2000.
• River Kwai brand was awarded the "Prime Minister's Export Award" for Distinctive Development & Marketing of a Thai Owned Brand in 1998.

     RKI maintains the strictest quality controls to comply with international standards.

• Since 1998 Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association of the U.K. has annually issued an annual "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point" (HACCP) certificate to our factory.

• RKI has been awarded the Higher Level Approval Certificate of Inspection by European Food Safety Inspection Service (EFSIS) in 2000.

• The Ministry of Industry's Thai Industrial Standards Institute awarded RKI a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate for having met its standard hygienic criteria.
